Conferences & Seminars

The Ibn Rushd Centre of Excellence will host many academic conferences, seminars, and day consultations on the various areas of Islamic Studies. It will attract experts, nationally and internationally, to one platform to discuss the topics at hand.

The Centre’s research seminars are a platform that brings together academic researchers and expert practitioners from various institutions with the aim of creating dynamic exchange of ideas, research and networking. The key objective of the Centre’s research seminars is to develop and encourage cutting-edge research in the study of theological and sociological Islamic studies.

The Centre’s conferences are open to all academics and students of Islamic studies at all levels, with a particular focus on PhD and postgraduate research students. The Centre welcomes and encourages students to submit abstracts for papers and actively participate in these seminars. The aim is for all participants, whether presenting or attending, to gain insight into the latest research across various fields and to contribute to the further development of the ideas discussed.
